Immerse yourself in a diverse range of artistic experiences through the many events happening on our campus all year long!

Galleries and Exhibitions

From traditional paintings and sculptures to modern installations and mixed-media creations, the main gallery and walking gallery at the Alabama Center for the Arts have rotating visual arts exhibits that are free to the public.

Musical Performances

The ACA hosts a diverse lineup of musical events, including classical concerts, jazz performances, chamber music ensembles, folk concerts, and more. These events take place in our state-of-the-art concert hall, or sometimes on the lawn on our main campus.

Theatrical Performances

Three theatrical performances occur on campus each year. Cast and crew include students, faculty, as well as the local Alabama community of theatre artists at large. Our theatres include a black box theatre and a state-of-the-art recital hall.

Workshops and Camps

Led by experienced instructors and artists, the ACA offers a variety of workshops and immersive creative camps designed to nurture your artistic talents and ignite your passion for the arts. Our workshops cover a diverse range of disciplines such as painting, drawing, ceramics, photography, and more.
