Background

William Richardson attended the University of the South in Sewanee, TN, where he first got involved in theatre. He transferred to the Eastern Illinois University where he received his Bachelor of Arts as well as worked at the Doudna Fine Arts Center where he was their Resident Lighting Designer and Assistant Production Manager/Technical Director. After working as a freelance designer and as a stagehand in Chicago, he attended Northern Illinois University where he received a Master of Fine Arts. Richard has worked for the Charlottesville Opera in Charlottesville, Virginia, as their Master Electrician and as a Lighting Designer. Most recently he worked as a Designer and Technical Director for East Aurora High School in Aurora, Illinois.
