Background

Tracie Bradford knew at an early age that she wanted to share her love for the arts through teaching and helping students discover their passions along the way. A native of Louisiana, she moved to Alabama in 2007 to attend graduate school and began her teaching career in 2010. She was blessed with the opportunity to work with Huntsville City Schools, serving as one of the visual arts teachers at Huntsville High and the Academy for Academics and Arts. She also served as an adjunct instructor at Calhoun Community Technical College and J.F. Drake State Community and Technical College for twelve years before becoming full-time faculty in 2023. The proud owner of Heart 4 Art, LLC, an organization that offers an after-school arts enrichment program and summer art camp for the youth, Ms. Bradford loves “ALL THINGS ARTS” and is looking forward to continuing to share her love with the students here at Calhoun!

Teaches

Art Appreciation, Drawing 1, Art History I, Art History II, 3D Composition, Found for Metal Sculpture. Tracie Bradford also teaches Figure Drawing, Advanced Figure Drawing, and 2D Composition for Athens State University.
