“Orchestrating Beauty: A Synthesis of Nature and Technology” by Shawn Donahoo, Artist & Composer

Orchestrating Beauty explores “the beauty of nature beyond the natural.” “Technology is always pushing the boundaries of what is possible, and we can use it to reach beyond what we know,” Donahoo stated. “It offers a bridge to connect us to a previously unseen shore. The thrill of exploration can be a powerful experience that opens our imagination to new worlds.”
Shawn is a formally trained orchestral composer who has developed an original process for creating imagery from the perspective of a musician. His orchestral compositions will also be featured in the gallery during the exhibit to enhance the experience. He holds degrees from Berklee College of Music (Bachelor of Music-Music Synthesis, Boston 1989) and the University of Alabama (Master of Music-Composition, Tuscaloosa, 1993) and has been an active member of the Huntsville Art League since 2020.
