2024 ACA Emerging Artists Exhibition

Walking Gallery of our Visual Arts building

The ACA Emerging Artists Exhibit features the art work of students of Calhoun Community College and Athens State University and is held in conjunction with the juried River Clay Fine Arts Festival held in historic downtown Decatur on the grounds of City Hall. The Emerging Artists Exhibition is displayed in the Walking Gallery of ACA’s Visual Arts center and we have over 50 pieces of art for your viewing pleasure.

The River Clay Fine Arts Festival brings together people from across the region to celebrate the visual arts in all its forms. The juried fine arts festival includes an artist market featuring local and national artists, children’s art activities, student art exhibits, music, food trucks, and much, much more. Situated on the beautiful, park-like setting of Decatur, Alabama’s City Hall Campus, the festival offers a destination for visiting art enthusiasts and area residents to spend time sharing ideas, purchasing art and immersing themselves in the artistic experience. ACA loves working closely with festival organizers and we hope you’ll visit ACA after attending the 9th River Clay Fine Arts Festival.

ACA will be open with SPECIAL WEEKEND HOURS during the River Clay Fine Arts Festival:

• Saturday, Oct. 26 – 9am-5pm

• Sunday, Oct. 27 – 10am-4pm
