The Alabama Center for the Arts is not open on the weekends unless it is for a school-related event. The ACA observes the same holidays as Calhoun Community College and Athens State University including Spring Break (March) and Winter Break (December). We observe these holidays: New Year’s Day, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, and Thanksgiving (3 days).
The ACA participates in Downtown Decatur 3rd Friday events, from April through October. We are open 5:00 pm-8:00 pm on the third Friday of those months. At the end of each semester (usually late May, early August, and early December) when there are no classes during final exam week, the ACA may close early at 4:30 pm.
