An artist’s reception for The Art of Decatur Theatre: Big Blue World will be held on Saturday, July 26 from 4:00 – 5:30 pm. The exhibit and reception are both free and open to the public.
The Art of Decatur Theatre: Big Blue World, featuring DreamWeavers Theatre and captivating puppets designed by Drew Sybert. Both Drew and DreamWeavers Theatre board members will be on-site to mingle with guests and answer questions about the exhibit.
The Art of Decatur Theatre: Big Blue World showcases more than a dozen custom built puppets (including Nemo, Marlin, Dory and all of their friends) from a previous production in Decatur, as well as some of the crew’s favorite colorful, one-of-a-kind costumes created for the cast. DreamWeavers shares photography and set pieces from the show.
